Reveal: C&C February Hot Coco Box

So this post is LOOOOONNNNGGGG overdue because I’ve been sitting on this box for about a week or a half and it’s time for me to reveal this bad boy.

Victoria of C&C sent out an email stating that this boxes theme was built around love and the products being edible. *sly grin* As soon as I read the edible part, I jumped on purchasing this box. I believe I paid $30 which included free shipping for February’s box. Now her boxes are not a subscription service, meaning that every month you have to return to her website to purchase the next box. Also, I have noticed that the prices vary from box to box. This month’s box included 5 items and the bonus item being a bar of her infamous Pink Cookie or Honey Pot soap.

Here’s what I received:

1. Almond Biscotti Botanical Massage Candle – botanically infused soy & cocoa butter candle for a unique massage

Weight: 3 fl oz.

Scent: smells like toasted chocolate almonds

Use: Light the candle, blow out once a small pool of melted oils form. Use caution and dip fingers in the warm wax then massage on skin.

Price: $9.00

My Thoughts: I haven’t had the chance to use this massage candle on a special someone just yet but once I do, I will be back to update.

2. Marshmallow Truffle Edible Warming Massage Glaze – edible chocolate infusion of raw cacao, raw honey & smoothing oils.

Weight: 4 oz

Scent: smells like chocolate and honey

Use: Massage on wet or dry skin and enjoy the light euphoric fragrance of chocolate & vanilla. Blow on the skin after applying for a gentle warming sensation. Can be applied to the hair for a nourishing treatment.

Price: $7.00

My thoughts: Haven’t used this yet, but I’m quite scared because of the honey ingredient…no one wants to be sticky! I will definitely try this as a hair treatment though.

3. Bourbon Creme Brulee Edible Shea Butter Frosting  – creamy whipped shea butter & raw honey frosting

Displaying photo 2.JPG

Weight: 4 fl oz.

Scent:  I can’t fully detect a distinct smell. 😦

Use: Rich buttery frosting made from edible oils & natural flavor oils to add more fun to your body massage. Shea butter & luxurious oils provide intense moisture and protects the ends of hair from splitting. On skin, it relieves dryness & itching, tones and evens complexions.

Price: $9.50

My Thoughts: Currently, I have only used this on my skin after the shower and it left my skin very smooth and supple. I will have to try this with sealing my ends as well as during a massage.

4. Coconut Macaroon Lift Softening Taffy  – nourishing intense lip treatment with a warm coconut flavor

Weight: .33 oz

Scent: Smells like toasted coconut

Price: $4.00

Use: Apply to lips 🙂

My Thoughts: I love this little lip taffy, especially the size of it since it’s easily able to be tossed in my purse. It provides great moisture and leaves my lips smelling like coconut.

5. Pomegranate Mocha Massage Truffle –  creamy massage butter bar to soften & condition enriched with raw cacao liquor

Scent: Smells like pomegranate and chocolate…divine.
