Natural Hair Acessory Alert

Hi love bugs! Can I just first remind you all that Spring is right around the corner…9 days away to be exact. While we are enjoying this lovely Spring like weather here in the ‘Burg, I’d figured I share an article I came across regarding a new natural hair accessory for all of those, me included, who love wearing puffs. The article comes from KCurly of Newlynatural.com

New Natural Hair Accessory Alert! For All The Puffs Out There!

Meet the PuffCuff.

From the website:

The PuffCuff Hair Clamp (PC) was developed from a simple idea: Create a tool that not only makes it easy to achieve stylish looks without stressing your hair, but that is sanitary, durable and affordable. So, what does that look like? All the models you see here are everyday people with various hair types wearing the PuffCuff.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Let’s face it. Most accessories are for straight hair. Unlike coily hair, straight hair only comes in one type: straight. After years of searching for an accessory to accommodate thick textured hair, we created PuffCuff. It works with every type of coily hair, from kinky to curly, to help you create many beautiful hairstyles without cinching your hair to the smallest point of resistance and damaging it. Sound special? It is. You won’t find PuffCuff at your local big box store. This one-of-a-kind clamp is only available here and on Amazon.com.

It’s a very neat idea and definitely something that will appeal to a lot of people.  I’m not big into puffs these days but I’d still like to try it out! It basically looks like banana clip but round. Don’t act like you don’t remember banana clips, that was my go to accessory back in my high school relaxed-hair days.

Bonus: You can buy it with Amazon Prime. The price tag is 12 bucks. It’s available in several different sizes.

The questions I have are:

  • How sturdy is it?
  • How does it work on short hair?
  • Are the little teeth that hold the hair damaging?
  • How tight will it be?

Hmm.. thoughts? I for one LOVE puffs so I will definitely be purchasing this to try out for the summer months. Until next time!

Peace and Love ❤

  1. Hey Erricka, I love the puffcuff! I bought one a couple weeks ago. They only have the large size now, so definitely need thick hair for the size. Smaller sizes are suppose to be available this year. It is definitely as you state a wonderful accessory. And yes, I do remember banana clips – they couldn’t handle my hair even relaxed back in the day! Shirley
