#FoundationFriday: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Stick

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday filled with lots of love and surrounded by family.

I’m bringing you all a review of a drugstore foundation.

Today’s review is about Maybelline’s Fit Me Shine- Free Foundation in Coconut 355.

So I have two different foundation sticks.

My original one which is just called the Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation and then the newer formulated Fit Me Shine-Free + Balance.

The one on the right is the newer formulated stick. The tanish inner circle is the Anti-Shine Powder Core.

Here is what Maybelline boasts:

Our first gel stick foundation with an anti-shine core
Fresh gel foundation blends to a natural matte finish
Lightweight powders in the anti-shine core instantly dissolve excess oil

These usually retail for about $6.99 and you can pick these up at Ulta and pretty much every drugstore. I usually catch these babies on sale.

This foundation is extremely blendable and the color match is amazing. This feels so light on the skin and isn’t full coverage. This isn’t long lasting and it transfers like crazy. However, if you are looking for a quick every day foundation and you are a dry skin diva then this foundation is for you.

HOWEVER… if you have combination skin like me or even oily skin these things will not be your friend. I’ve worn this on multiple occasions and every single time I have found myself getting really shiny. I’ve even set this with the matching powder. 😦

Definitely not a repurchase. Β Which sucks because I used to use this a lot a few years ago.

But… I do like other products in the Fit Me Line and will be back to do another review on those later.

Have you ever tried this product?

What are your thoughts?

Peace and Love ❀
