I picked up these lovely masks a while ago from CVS during one of my many drugstore hauls.
I came across these masks in the skincare aisle and decided to give them a shot because they were 3 for 6 dollars or something like that.
I picked up:
Check your worries at the door and let this anti stress dead sea minerals mask soothe you. Creamy clay gets into pores to remove dirt and oils while Dead Sea Minerals and Sea Salts help replenish hydration and Plankton and Algae Extracts reveal radiant skin. You’ll feel relaxed and your skin will glow it’s a win. Paraben free. Ideal for all skin types.
So this mask is blue. Yep.
Not only does it leave a hint of blue on your face BUT it stains everything else. Also, it has a very weird scent that I can’t quite identify.
Not a repurchase.
Need a detox from the daily grind. This dual action Charcoal and Black Sugar mask works in two ways to prepare your face for the world, Activated charcoal works naturally to purify skin, absorbing oils without over drying while Black Sugar works as a scrub to gently exfoliate dull skin cells, revealing ultra soft and smooth skin. This unique mask and scrub combo kicks impurities to the curb so you can put your freshest face forward. Paraben free. Ideal for all skin types.
Out of the three that I tested, this mask is my favorite. I actually noticed a difference in my skin after using this product. It smells amazing and is super light and moisturizing on the skin. I also enjoyed the black sugar in the mask because it allows you to exfoliate any dead skin and leaves your skin really bright and refreshed.
A definite repurchase.
If nourished, ultra soft skin is what you seek, look no further than this purifying avocado and oatmeal mask. Creamy clay gets into pores to remove dirt and oils while nutrient rich avocado and oatmeal moisturize and soothe, resulting in super soft skin. You’ll get a deep clean and lasting softness you can really feel. Ideal for normal to combination skin.
I also liked this mask. It is green in color but doesn’t stain your skin like the dead sea mask. I didn’t notice super soft skin but we are going through another El Nino and my skin is just all out of sorts so it has been reacting to things quite weird lately. Now that it is back to winter and my skin is back to combo/dry I will attempt to use this again.
BONUS: CVS is currently offering:
on Beauty 360 or CVS Brand Facial Masks.
So if you are looking to revamp your routine, I highly suggest giving these masks a try. Well with the exception of the smurf mask unless that is your wave then girl get you that blue mask.
Peace and Love ❤
