Natural Hair Products Haul

Is it me or does it seem like the long weekend flew by?

I looked up and it’s time to go right back to work.

Anyway, I have been meaning to make this post well in the beginning of January but you know life happens.

Now that we got that out of the way, let me just say that I recently cleaned out my natural hair storage bin and got rid of products that did not work or that I just never got around to using to only purchase new items to try.

AHHHHH the life of a product junkie.

So the first products that I picked up are from a company that I have been dying to try.

TGIN or Thank God I’m Natural.

FullSizeRender (7)

I have been following this company for quite some time and was excited when I heard they would be sold in Target stores because that means I would not have to pay for shipping and wait to receive the products to test out.

Sadly, I haven’t located any of the products in any of my local Targets so I took the plunge and tried out a sample pack.

The sample pack includes products from the Moist Collection for $19.99. Those products are:

2 oz sizes of the following products: Sulfate Free Shampoo, Triple Moisture Rich Conditioner, Honey Miracle Hair Mask and the Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer.

I also picked up a sample size of the Twist and Define Creme for $5.49

I’m currently protective styling but I plan on taking out this style at the end of the month so I’m eager to test these products out.

The second company I purchased some items from were an Etsy shop called Organitude.

I had received an email from them stating they are allowing customers to test out their products for free as long as you pay for the shipping. So I reached out to the company and also received some products to test out for my blog. I received the following products:

6 Step Starter Kit which contains:

Step 1 Pre-Poo

Step 2a Hair Cleanser

Step 2b Conditioner

Step 3 Soothing Moisture Lock

Step 4 Detangler

Step 5 Hair Whip

Step 5 Mango Butter

Step 6a Finishing Spray

Step 6b Sealing Oil

I also received their styling gel, for sew-ins cleansing formula and three samples of their other fragrances in Pink Lemonade, Eucalyptus Spearmint and Green Clover & Aloe.

I’m super excited to try out these products because they all smell great and are packed with great ingredients. I also have to say that I have used the sew-in formula for my protective style and it works. It cleans the buildup found at the beginning of my twists.

Stay tuned for more updates on these products.

Peace and Love ❤

  1. I have been wanting to try TGIN for a whole now. I still have not managed to do so. They do have it here in Canada, however, Im a recovering product junkie and i’m still not convinced I should splurge yet.
