The LipStick Files: Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint

Happy Thursday Guys!

I hope your week has been great.

It’s time for another lipstick review.

This time I’m reviewing one of my current favorite liquid lipsticks.

Tarte’s Tarteist Lip Paint.

They currently have 10 shades on the Tarte website but there are 14 on the Sephora website. The names of these are so freaking cute.

The names include things like hangry to namaste to yaaaassss!

They also released some new lip pencils with equally cute names but I haven’t picked up any of those just yet either.

I currently own two shades

TBT – mauve color (but of course)

Retails: $20

I love this color. This is definitely a everyday wear and I don’t have to pair it with a lip liner which is 10x better.

Hangry – burgundy

I did notice this color is a bit streaky when applying it.

Excuse my terrible lip swatches. These were impromptu.

These have a mousseΒ like texture and don’t really fully dry down to a suck your lips dry matte but they are COMFORTABLE.

These DO transfer. So these are not for girls who are looking for the true liquid lipsticks.

Also, they have a minty smell to them which is another added bonus.

These DO stain your lips but just use some oil to break it down or a trusty makeup remover.

Overall, I absolutely love these lip paints. I will probably pick up a few more shades in the near future for the Spring.

BONUS: If you are a VIB Rouge with Sephora you are able to get Fomo which is a beautiful mauve color. I’m super close to VIB rouge and I WILL be picking up that color.

Have you tried these?

What are your thoughts?

Peace and Love ❀
