Lush Haul

So is anyone as obsessed with Lush as I am?

I recently visited Lush this weekend to pick up a few skincare items that I have been dying to check out.

FullSizeRender (40)

Here is what I picked up:

Oatfix – Soothing Banana Mask for Dry Skin

FullSizeRender (41)

Lush claims:

Few things are more soothing than a big bowl of banana porridge, all sweet and squishy. Did you know the same is true for your skin? Sensitive, dry or irritated faces love Oatifix for its calming oats, softening mashed banana and ground almonds to slough away flaky skin. Keep in mind that dry skin doesn’t just occur in the winter! The sun can be equally harsh, as UV rays penetrate the dermis and heat can leave you feeling tight and dry. Use Oatifix year-round on sensitive, dry skin in need of nourishment to keep it flexible and soft.

THIS SMELLS AMAZING. I keep checking to see if I’m able to eat this because I LOVE bananas and this smells good enough to eat. I picked this one up because my skin has been super dry lately thanks to the colder months and I wanted to see how this will help with moisture.

Cupcake – Oily Girls Dream

FullSizeRender (33)

Lush Claims:

Cupcake is our one fresh face mask that was created for a bit of fun. At the time, our inventor’s daughter was a young girl having slumber parties with her girlfriends every weekend, so he whipped up a chocolate mint mask for young, oily skin (officially solidifying him as the coolest dad ever). If you suffer from oily or spotty skin, slather it in this cocoa concoction. With spearmint oil to cool, vanilla absolute to calm redness and Rhassoul mud to deeply cleanse- Cupcake is a sweet savior for young faces. Smothering yourself in chocolate for clearer skin? Every teenage girl’s dream.

Again another fresh face mask that I want to eat. This smells divine.

I love chocolate.

So I have to keep myself from trying to eat this.

I picked this up because I’m a combo skin gal and want to see if this will help control my oils.

Cosmetic Warrior – Break Out Prone Skin

FullSizeRender (39)

Lush claims:

Spots! Oily areas! Blackheads! The frustration of having breakout prone skin can incite aggressive, ‘industrial’ type cleaning. Unfortunately, breakout prone skin is often very sensitive, so using harsh cleansers can actually make the problem worse. Don’t over attack your skin; lead it firmly down the path to salvation with Cosmetic Warrior. Cosmetic Warrior is kind to problem-laden faces thanks to moisturizing egg whites and honey, which smooth and tighten the pores, and cleansing garlic and tea tree oil for a fresh, clear, happy face.

FullSizeRender (32)

I picked this one up because lately my skin has been acting cray. I don’t have break out prone skin but these blackheads on my nose and these PERIOD BREAKOUTS have been annoying. You can easily spot the tea tree and garlic notes in this one. I have tested this one out and my only suggestion would be to follow with a creamy moisturizer because it gets your skin super dry.

Retails: $7.95

That’s it for now. I’m excited to test these out and report back to you all.

Have you used any Lush skincare products?

What are your thoughts?

Peace and Love ❤
