Because I’ve been checking for these abs on the regular and they’re slowly coming I figured I share some daily tips for flat abs.
I can’t stress this enough. Breakfast is seriously the most important meal of the day and it’s also my favorite. That first meal helps to jump start your metabolism and will keep you full enough so you can bypass the free bagels in the break room.
Since we are talking about breakfast it is important to point out a few foods that should be avoided. I know that dairy and I do not get along…even though I LOVE IT. It causes me to bloat and that’s a no no. Also avoid fatty or salty foods as well as POP.
Now this one might be a little difficult for some people because of schedules but you don’t have to get a hardcore workout in. Just a quick core strengthening workout will suffice. While you’re waiting on that oatmeal to heat up try a few of these from darebee.com
Please consult your doctor before cutting any calories. I’m not clinically trained and only do what works best for me but cutting calories will help reveal those abs. Make healthy swaps throughout the day so you are still providing your body with enough energy and nutrition while still cutting calories.
I’m sorry but this picture describes my relationship with cardio. But lately I’ve been upping my cardio and I’ve been noticing some great changes. High-intensity exercise burns calories the fastest, especially when it’s in the form of intervals. I’ve been adding in sprints and I’m loving my results so far.
That’s it. My goal is to do these tips for the next 60 days until summer and hopefully my abs will start to show.
