I know what you are thinking.
WHY ARE YOU ALREADY TALKING ABOUT BLACK FRIDAY?
But honestly these weeks have been flying by so freaking fast that I think it’s better for me to prepared before I look up and BAM Black Friday is here.
Since I’m on a makeup no buy and I’m currently growing out a tapered cut, most of my coins will be spent on natural hair products.
I’m also trying to prepare for postpartum shedding so I’ve been researching natural hair products that might help with the shedding. What better time to pick up products to test out than Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
This is a fairly newer brand that is exclusively sold at Ulta. According to the website Maui Moisture:
Maui Moisture was inspired by handpicked & handcrafted ingredients that can be found on tropical islands like Maui. Most shampoos and conditioners start with deionized, chemically treated water as their primary ingredient. Maui Moisture starts with a unique blend with Aloe Vera Juice and is infused with pure Coconut Water.
Maui Moisture is crafted into 6 amazing ranges for all different hair types and textures to help get your hair looking healthy. An escape to the Maui islands with every use.
The 6 ranges are:
• Coconut Oil + Curl Quench — for thick, curly hair
• Heal & Hydrate + Shea Butter — for dry, damaged hair
• Strength & Anti-Breakage + Rich Honey — for chemically damaged hair
• Smooth & Repair + Vanilla Bean — for frizzy, unruly hair
• Thicken & Restore + Bamboo Fibers — for weak, brittle hair
• Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk — for dry hair
I’m most interested in trying the shea butter, the rich honey, vanilla bean and coconut milk lines. My hair LOVES honey and coconut milk so I’m excited to see how this will work with my strands. I also want to try mainly the oils, butters and deep conditioners from the above lines. I might pick up a conditioner but I already have a few staple conditioners so I might stay away from them. Ulta usually has this on sale so hopefully I can catch a good sale around Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
A majority of my Black Friday damage will be spent at SheScentIt. I absolutely love this line and have been rocking with them for quite some time. Today I ran out of a few of my staple products and can’t wait to pick up some more.
Here are a few of the things I want to pick up:
Avocado Conditioner (Staple Product) – this product is BAE like seriously this is my favorite product from her line.
Honey Buttercream Moisturizer – JUST LOVE. This moisturizer is lightweight yet effective.
Marula Mallow Leave In Styler – I believe this product is newer so I’m interested in picking it up. It’s a heavier cream which is what I need during these winter months.
Marula Hemp Hair Cream – Another newer product that is thicker than her normal products.
Cranberry Cream Cocktail – This is from her holiday line and I’ve read nothing but great reviews about this.
There are a bunch more things that I want to try but these are just a few.
I’ve been eyeing the above product since last Black Friday but totally forgot to pick it up. I LOVE red velvet anything especially when it is in a body butter. I know this isn’t a hair product but there are a few others things I want to try from this line as well.
Avocado and Shea Healthy Hair Milk – I’m not a fan of hair milks but I’ve read/watched great reviews on this product.
Creamy Castor Deep Conditioner – Another product that I’ve heard great things about.
Detoxifying Mint CoWash – This is a newer product of his that just sounds good and I can’t pass it up.
The Twist & Define Cream and the Honey Miracle Deep Conditioner work great with my low porosity hair. That Honey Miracle Deep conditioner is amazing. I’m going to pick up about 2 of the deep conditioners so I can have a nice little stash while I’m going through my other deep conditioners.
I also want to try the Butter Cream Moisturizer which is the #1 bestseller on their website. Again I’m butter cream junkie and just want to have more to add to my natural hair collection.
I’m also hoping to pick up the Q-Redew Handheld Steamer.
It’s been about a year or so since my steamer has died and I’ve just been using the heat from my shower to steam with and it’s been okay. I just noticed major growth when I used to steam my hair before so I’m going to pick up this handheld steamer to see if I can stimulate more growth.
That’s it. A majority of the products are from Black Owned Business which is a major plus. I’m also going to pick up some single items from a few other companies but I didn’t mention those because I was only buying 1 or 2 items from each.
What are some of the items you are going to pick up during Black Friday sales?
Peace and Love ❤
