Review This| Prime Objective Perfecting Face Primer

Happy Monday !

I was sent a new face primer to test out and wanted to share my thoughts on the product with you all.

The primer I received from Brandbacker is called

Prime Objective Perfecting Face Primer which can be purchased here at Studio Gear Cosmetics.

This primer will run you about $30.

Which is a bit much for my price range but I do believe this is worth the $30 price tag.

Studio Gear Cosmetics claims:

PRIME OBJECTIVE: To prepare the skin in much the same way as a painter primes a canvas… and so much more!

PRIME OBJECTIVE is a silicone based face primer that acts to “re-touch”, or visually diminish, imperfections in the surface texture of the skin. PRIME OBJECTIVE contains a sustained release liposome system with retinol that can help support cell turnover and reduce the appearance if fine lines and wrinkles, as well as a milk protein complex that can help to balance and protect the skin against environmental stresses. The “skin perfecting” effect of this state-of-the-art formula is further enhanced with optical diffusers.

Paraben-Free, Fragrance-Free, Retinol

Here is what the primer looks like:

It is definitely a silicone based primer and it goes on very smooth. Also, I didn’t notice that it was a pinky color with little gold flecks in it until I swatched it.

Final Review:

I wore this primer twice with both a liquid and a foundation stick and each time it controlled my oils. I didn’t wear it enough to decide whether or not it helps with fine lines and wrinkles because it contains retinol and retinol is not safe during pregnancy. I will definitely revisit this primer once this baby drops because my makeup application was amazing.

I used the primer with my Nars foundation and I had my makeup on for about 8 hours total.

Before-After

This is the second time I wore the makeup with my ABH foundation stick and I had the makeup on for about 6 hours.

Sorry for the blurry before picture 😦 – after

Both times my makeup went on really easy and helped to control my oils. Also, my pores aren’t really large but it filled in the small amount of pores that I do have and my makeup lasted a long time.

I would definitely recommend this product for people with mature skin just because it contains the retinol which helps with tightening skin.

What are some of your favorite face primers?

Peace and Love ❤
